Welcome to Season 4 of the eSport Endurance Series on rFactor 2. Make sure to read through this entire first post to understand how the signup procedure works.

Classes, numbers and cars

  • DPi (#2 - #15*) - The fastest class on track. To access it, teams need to have strong pace and high safety standards.
  • LMP2 (#16 - #50) - LMP2 teams are expected to be masters in managing traffic safely as they will have to manage both faster and slower traffic.
  • LMGTE Pro (#51 - #99) - This class will feature the fastest GTE drivers around.
  • LMGTE AM (#100 - #199) - This class will mainly feature drivers who are new to endurance events and/or are a bit off pace compared to the so-called “alien” drivers.

Available cars will be (All DLC): Aston Martin Vantage GTE, Ferrari 488 GTE, Corvette C7.R, Porsche 911 RSR, BMW M8 GTE, Oreca 07 LMP2, Cadillac DPi-V.R, Corvette C8.R GTE, Ligier JS P217 LMP2.

*#1 reserved to Wave Freem eSports.

Line-up changes

Teams will be limited to 6 line-up changes throughout the season. Adding OR removing a driver counts as 1 line-up change, while adding AND removing 2 different drivers at the same time will count as 2 line-up changes.

Pre-season and Prologue

Before the official start of the season, there will be two mandatory events.

  • Pre-season, 2 Hours of Indianapolis 2014 - During this event pace will not be taken much into consideration. What matters the most here, is for both staff and teams to familiarize with championship’s rules and schedule and to get different drivers to know each other and cooperate to make racing easier and safer.
  • Prologue, 2 Hours of Road America - This final pre-season event will be useful to check if all classes are sorted correctly. DO NOT sandbag. If we feel like you have, staff will move your entry later in the season and your points will be set back to 0 in the new class.

Points system

In order to be eligible for points, teams must complete 90% of the class’ leader distance.

  • 6-8 hours races: 35-28-24-22-20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6
  • 10-12 hours races: 45-38-34-30-26-22-20-18-16-14-12-10
  • Bonus points*:
    • Teams completing 0-49 %: 0 points;
    • Teams completing 50-74 %: 2 points (6-8 hrs.), 3 points (10-12 hrs.)*
    • Teams completing 75-89 %: 4 points (6-8 hrs.), 6 points (10-12 hrs.)*

N.B. Teams already getting the full points will not get these additional points, which are reserved for teams completing less than 90 % of the class’ leader laps.
