• 14. RULES REGARDING THE USE OF EXTERNAL SOFTWARES DIFFERENT TO THE ONES INDICATED IN THE INTRODUCTION (SIMULATOR AND OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION SOFTWARES)

• • 14.1 Use of external software able to interact with the simulator is allowed only for the following purposes:
    • 14.1.1 See on screen infos regarding your own car, standings, gaps, positioning of cars on track. Consent is extended to all public infos given by the server
    • 14.1.2 Assigning simple inputs to the simulator without interfering, even indirectly, on car’s performance (headlights, wipers, pit strategy etc.)
  • 14.2 Use of external software is forbidden in the following cases:
    • 14.2.1 Give inputs to the simulator in order to, directly or indirectly, interfere on car’s performance intended as (but not only) driveability, speed, fuel and/or tires consumption
  • 14.3 Breaches of these rules can be penalized by Race Direction:
    • 14.3.1 For violations viewable from the replay, with a normal protest
    • 14.3.2 For violations not-viewable from the replay, with a protest sent to e-mail address racedirection@e-racingseries.com. Report must contain a video-proof of what happened and can only refer to official sessions
      • 14.3.2.1 If video-proof is recorded by a spectator on the server during the race, it must show the name of the spectator recording and must also show the following driver swap, in order to avoid breaching rules about maximum time on the server by spectators.
    • 14.3.3 Anyway, violations can be detected ex officio by the Race Directors during the official sessions
  • 14.4 Violations regarding this section will be penalized with a DQ after the official session is over in order to give the possibility to the driver involve to make an appeal
