With the preseason race upon us, we would like to thank everyone for your interest in our championship. We certainly did not expect this high number of signups. As a response to this, we have decided to split both LMP2 and LMGTE in two different categories, to keep things fun and interesting for everyone throughout the championship.
Therefore, LMP2 will be split into PRO and PRO-AM, while LMGTE will be divided into PRO and AM. Points’ system will be changed compared to last season, you can find more details at the bottom of this post (this will be included into the rulebook ASAP). To assign different entries in the two categories, we used all the data we gathered throughout the four past seasons. Of course, there are a lot of teams and drivers we don’t know, so some inaccuracies are to be expected.
For this reason, we have decided to open a categorization server, where teams and drivers can run all the stints they want to show us their through pace. Now, the interesting thing about this server is the fact that live timing will be visible only to admins, so you are free to push without having to worry about being spied on. This server will open tomorrow, Saturday, 27th August at 11.00 Server Time. Server details will be shared in this topic.

Organization will use the data gathered on this server and the preseason race to sort classes and apply any changes. We reserve the right to change the categorization during the championship and recalculate the points in the previous races, in case there is clear evidence of a misplacement.
